  1. What are the advantages of switching to you from my current financial advisor?
    • You get the benefit of a combined financial services experience of 27 years in financial, retirement and estate planning expertise.

    • How long does the process of transferring my investments or insurance plans take?
      • Normally a few days.

    • Is the transition difficult?
      • We simplify things for you and usually require a meeting and a few signatures.

      • In a lot of cases the transfer is very simple because your investments or insurance plans are moved over intact so no change is required.  Where it is to your benefit, we also recommend changes based on your goals and risk tolerances to enhance the portfolio or insurance plan.
      • Some plans maybe proprietary so careful analysis is required for alternative solutions.  Our practice is based on "Customer First" - recommendations must always be in your best interest.

    • What if this doesn't work out?
      • We always try our best, but there should be a line up of advisors ready to serve you and the same process will be repeated in steps 2 and 3.

  2. What if I don't have much to invest or don't live in Kitchener/Waterloo?
    • We have clients young and old, big and small.  Every financial plan has to start from some point but will develop and grow with proper planning and coaching.
    • We are based out of Kitchener/Waterloo, but service clients in Ontario, BC, Alaska and Michigan.  Canada also has reciprocating agreements in many countries which allow us to continue servicing these clients.  Where you reside should not pose a challenge because of the marvels of technology.  We encourage our clients to use E-mail and are equipped with Blackberry's to reply to your inquiries regardless if we are in the office or not.  For your convenience we provide a toll-free number 877-510-6209 when you wish to speak to us directly.  The use of E-mail attachments and facsimiles are excellent tools to execute transactions and requests in a timely fashion.  Assante Investor Online provides you with online access to your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
